21. Wilhelm Schickard

1. Father of the computer age.

2. History of computers begins in 1623. when Wilhelm Schickard made the first mechanical calculator. While reading about Schickard I came across Aristotle’s exciting definition of the Whole. The whole is more than the sum of its parts. Schickard was a polymath, universalist. Renaissance man. Universalist is a prototype of computer and internet.

3. When I was young I pointed my curiosity about omniscience towards Holly Nescience and for Wilhelm Scihickard I will search the Internet for what exists about Holly Nescience.
